We organize technical workshops, industry tours, and have four active projects: combat robots, micromouse, rover, and a robotic arm. Our teams participate in competitions like the NHRL, University Rover Challenge, and micromouse events.

Launched in May 2021 and funded through support from the Department of Defense, RoboticsCareer.org is a national workforce capability powered by the ARM Institute. Millions of manufacturing jobs are at risk of going unfilled in the coming years due to a historic skills gap. RoboticsCareer.org brings much needed awareness to these roles, the skills needed, the importance of these jobs, and more to support students and workers at each stage of their career.
SailBot at Pitt is a club that specializes in building a small autonomous sailboat as a part of the International Robotic Sailing Regatta, competing every summer.
The Sarah Heinz Advanced Robotics Program represents the STEAM programs offered at the Sarah Heinz House, a Boys and Girls Club member in Pittsburgh's North Side Neighborhood. We offer programs to kids from 1st to 12th grade, which include multiple robotics teams that compete in VEX, VEX IQ, Seaperch, FIRST, and FIRST LEGO League.

Team 1708, known as Amp'D Robotics, is a nonprofit robotics team based at McKeesport Area High School in Pennsylvania. Established in 2005, the team is dedicated to promoting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education through hands-on robotics experiences. They support students in grades 4–12 from various school districts, including McKeesport, Norwin, East Allegheny, Elizabeth Forward, and PA Cyberschools.

Team TeraBridges (FTC 18603) is an award-winning FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team from Upper St. Clair High School, recognized for competitive excellence, innovation, and community impact. In 2026, the team won the Western Edge Premier Event Championship and 1st Place Connect Award, while also earning the Grand Prize in the Tikkun Olam Makers Global Innovation Challenge for its Motorized Toddler Mobility Trainer (TMT), an assistive technology solution designed to improve mobility and independence for young children with disabilities. Beyond robotics and outreach, TeraBridges has engaged in advocacy to expand access to robotics education across Pennsylvania, contributing to bipartisan legislative efforts surrounding Senate Bill 1419, which seeks to promote statewide robotics education. The team exemplifies how student-led robotics can extend beyond competition to create meaningful community impact and help shape the future of STEM education.
